Louisiana Black Bear

The Louisiana Black Bears mature at 3-5 years and give birth to 1-5 cubs every other year. They're black with brown muzzles and some have white markings on their chests. Adult males range from 150-350 pounds, and  adult females can weigh from 120-250.






American Alligator

The American Alligator is one of the largest reptiles. Adults are 13-18 feet long and 450-500 pounds. Babies eat insects, shrimp, tadpoles, and frogs. Adults eat turtles, fish, raccoons, and dead animals.







Bald Eagle

Bald Eagles live 30 years or longer in the wild. They lay 2-3 eggs a year, which hatch after about 35 days. The males are generally about 3 feet, 7-10 pounds, and have a wingspan of 6 1/2 feet. The females are larger. Both males' and females' distinctive white feathers appear after 4-5 years.
